The OSIBISAM CULTURAL BAND was formed 2017 by a group of young musicians who were inspired by the use of indigenous instruments from Ghana 🇬🇭 and Africa as a whole. This Band is into World Music and its aim is to promote the African rhythms and Melodie’s doing away with most of the western instruments. The band is based in Accra and the band’s songs are influenced by greats such as the Osibisa Band, Bob Marley, Hewale, Wolomo. 

The band is made of members who comes from different cultural backgrounds with different tribe inspiration. The band uses mostly the African instruments such as the Dewulta, xylophone, Afikyiwa, Atentaben, Gome, Awusoa and other indigenous instruments during its performances. This group has been widely accepted throughout its motherland because of the traditional nature of the band. The band portrays different cultures of the Ghanaian communities.

The band has shared stage with greats such as Ambuley, Salif Keita, Meweh, Pat Thomas and many more. 

The Band has demonstrated that the African instruments can stand on its on its. The band has brought back the use of African instruments as stand alone.

The band has two albums to its credit namely: OMAN GHANA and AFRICA SWEET these albums have ten songs each. Ride on OSIBISAM!!!!
